Katie S. Stoltzfus, 98, of 319 Brethren Church Rd., Leola, passed away on Monday afternoon, Aug. 5, 2013 at home. She was the wife of the late Eli K. Stoltzfus who died in 1982. She helped her husband operate the Stoltzfus Harness Shop in Intercourse for 40 years. A homemaker and member of the Old Order Amish Church, Mrs. Stoltzfus was the daughter of the late Eli D. and Rebecca Petersheim.
She is survived by: her daughter, Rebecca wife of John J. Beiler, Leola; eight grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: two stillborn daughters; a sister, Fannie Petersheim; and a great-great-grandchild.
The funeral will be 9 a.m. EST, Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013 from the John S. Beiler residence, 317 Brethren Church Rd., Leola with interment following in the Myer's Cemetery, Leola. Viewing: at the John S. Beiler residence from the time of this notice till the service.
