Kenneth Geiger, 87, of Leola, PA went to be with his beloved Lord on March 3, 2013. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Waltraut (Wally) Geiger and children Heidi (Mark) Sarracino, Curt (Pam) Geiger, Cindy (Don) Riker, Tim (Linda) Geiger. He also leaves behind a sister, Thelma Geiger and brother, Wilbur (Bud) Geiger as well as grandchildren Shannon Sarracino, John (Jamie) Sarracino, Scott (Amy) Geiger, Ryan Geiger, Bethany Riker, Sean (Mandy) Riker, Jordon Riker, Karisa Riker and Anita Geiger. Ken spent his early years in the Haddonfield area of south Jersey, but married and raised his family in northern Morris County, working at Howmet Corporation in Dover for 32 years as a machinist. He and Wally then retired to Roanoke Virginia, recently moving to Leola, PA. Besides serving his family as loving husband, father, and grandfather, he was a WWII veteran, and served as church deacon for 45 years. His strong sense of duty and love led him to a constant awareness of ways to help others, whether it was cutting down unsafe trees or being a handyman. His hobbies and interests included hunting and various sports as well as being an avid gardener.
