     Kiah J. Minnick, 87, of Calvary Fellowship Homes, formerly of Enfield Dr., Lancaster, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Apr. 24, 2014.  Born in Tamaqua, he was the son of the late Kiah and Eva Krell Minnick.  He was the loving husband of Beverly A. Rice Minnick.  They would have been married 61 years this June.

     Mr. Minnick had worked for the Lehigh Navigation Coal Co., Tamaqua; Permutit; RCA; and lastly as part-time in maintenance for Calvary Fellowship Homes.

     An avid tennis player, he was a sports fan especially the Phillies; was a member of Calvary Church; was a gardener; and he loved the Lord.

     In addition to his wife, he will be lovingly missed by: three children, June Grimm, Leola, Larry Scott married to Cathy Minnick, Terre Hill, Barbi J. married to David Denham, Middletown, DE; five grandchildren, Alannah, Colby, Sawyer, John and Nick.  His two brothers, Hayes and Ray Minnick preceded him in death.

     The memorial service will be Monday, Apr. 28, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the Fellowship Hall of Calvary Fellowship Homes, 502 Elizabeth Dr., Lancaster, with greeting time from 1 – 2 p.m.
