     Lloyd G. Wenger, 83, of Brethren Village formerly of Leola, entered into rest on Tuesday, March 3, 2026.  Born in Bareville, he was the son of the late Amon G. and Esther Zuck Wenger.  He was the husband of Wilma L. Espenshade Wenger for 59 years. 

     Lloyd was a self-employed electrician operating Wenger Electric.  He also worked for Hawthorne Electric, Miller Structures and retired from Lapp Electric.

He ran Conestoga Hobbies Train Shop in Bareville.  He was a life member of Conestoga Church of the Brethren where he served on the property committee.  Lloyd enjoyed toy trains, train shows; was a past board member of the Upper Leacock Twp. War Memorial Assoc.; past caretaker/trustee of the Bareville Cemetery.

     In addition to his wife, he is survived by: children, Jeffrey S. married to Kimberly Berry Wenger, Ephrata, Katrina married to Jon Bridgeman, Manheim; grandchildren, Alaina Bridgeman and Jon Bridgeman Jr.; a sister, Elaine married to Thomas Giorgio, Lancaster; sisters-in-law, Nancy Wenger, Lititz, Shirley Wenger and Leah Wenger, both Lancaster.  He was preceded in death by: a stillborn daughter; brothers, Earl, Clyde and Jay; sisters, Floy Baker and Ruth Kreider.

     Funeral Services:  2 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2026 at the Conestoga Church of the Brethren, 141 E. Main St., Leola with viewing there from 12:30 p.m. – 2 p.m.  Interment: Bareville Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are welcomed to the Bareville Cemetery c/o Dennis Haldeman, 54 3rd St., Akron PA 17501 or Hospice & Community Care, PO Box 4125, Lancaster PA 17604-4125.
