Lloyd M. Kurtz, beloved husband of Edith H. Kurtz, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 25, 2025. Lloyd was a cherished partner in the White Horse General Store, where he worked alongside his brother, Marvin Kurtz.
Born to Mildred and Ellis Kurtz, Lloyd leaves behind a loving family, including his brother Marvin and Marvin’s wife, Beth; his nephew Michael and Michael’s wife, Deb; Rhonda Kurtz, wife of his late nephew Brad; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his nephew Eric.
Lloyd’s warmth, dedication, and conversational spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Services will be graveside on Wednesday, October 1, at 11:00 am, at Hershey Mennonite Cemetery, 401 Hershey Church Rd., Kinzers, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Officiating will be Rev. Dr. Krisana Poontajak from Cedar Grove Presbyterian Church.
Luncheon to follow at Yoder’s Banquet Room in New Holland, Pennsylvania. Donations in Lloyd’s memory can be made to the charity of your choice.
