Lois Curry Neuhauser, age 87, of Oakview Road, Lancaster, Pa., passed away at the Masonic Village Health Center, Elizabethtown on May 31, 2015. Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Vernon W. and Margaret McFarland Curry. She was a graduate of Scott High School, Coatesville. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Leola. In early years, Mrs. Neuhauser was employed by the Chester County Mutual Insurance Company, Coatesville and Host Enterprises, Lancaster.
She was the wife of Robert Earl Neuhauser for 67 years. Surviving besides her husband are two children: Gregory R. Neuhauser husband of Lisa Sholly Neuhauser of Hershey, Pa., Deidre LaMonte wife of Timothy LaMonte of Corona Del Mar, Calif.; three grandchildren, Megan (Neuhauser) Subbio, Dana (Neuhauser) Lylo, Lydia Mei Neuhauser; a step-granddaughter, Stephanie (LaMonte) Reinwald; three great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; a brother, Rodney Curry of Myerstown, Pa. Mrs. Neuhauser was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
The memorial service will be Friday, June 5, 2015 at 11 a.m. from the Zion Lutheran Church, 18 Quarry Rd., Leola. The family will greet friends 10-11 a.m. Friday. Kindly omit flowers. Memorial contributions may be made to American Lung Association, 630 Janet Ave., Lancaster, PA 17601.
