Lois F. Diem, 86, of Leola, went to be with the Lord on May 19, 2026. Born in Bird-in-Hand, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Mary (Felpel) Carpenter. She was the loving wife of Robert M. Diem. They were married 66 years last November. For a number of years, Lois worked as a waitress for Plain & Fancy and Good & Plenty. A member of Stumptown Mennonite Church, Lois enjoyed riding motorcycle with her husband; crochet; and spending time with her family.
She will be lovingly missed by her husband, Robert; three daughters, Linda married to Ron Devlin of Ephrata, Karen Bowers of New Holland, Bobbie Jo Evans of Elliottsburg; three grandchildren, Anthony (Tammy), Ashlea (Edward), Shain (Danielle); seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marian Heisey of Columbia, Jane married to Jake Harnish of Fairmount Homes.
She was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter and a sister, Harriet Burkhart.
Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at the Stumptown Mennonite Cemetery, 2813 Stumptown Rd., Bird-In-Hand.
