Lydia G. Beiler, 86, of 426 Beechdale Rd., Bird-in-Hand, passed away of natural causes at her home on Monday, August 17, 2015. Born in Bird-in-Hand, she was the daughter of the late Amos and Mary Glick King. She was the wife of Samuel H. Beiler. She was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Besides her husband she is survived by: nine children, David husband of Ruth King Beiler, Amos husband of Sarah Lapp Beiler, Andrew husband of Martha Beiler Beiler, Samuel J. husband of Leah Lapp Beiler, all of Bird-in-Hand, Susie wife of Levi Lapp of Quarryville, Mary wife of Henry Fisher of Mifflin, Anna wife of John King of Aaronsburg, Fannie wife of Sol Zook of Honey Brook, Naomi wife of Jake Zook of Gratz; 61 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sisters, Katie King of Bird-in-Hand, Sadie wife of Levi Lantz of Hatville; a brother, Amos husband of Janie King of Lancaster; brother-in-law, Israel Smoker; sisters-in-law, Lydia King and Cristiann King.
She was preceded in death by three grandchildren; sister, Susie Smoker; brothers, Dannie, John, Jacob, and Aaron King.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at 11:00 AM EST at the late home. Friends may call from the time of this notice till the service at the late home. Interment will be in Beiler’s Cemetery, Ronks.
