Margaret M. Schell, 88, of 557 Beechdale Rd., Bird-in-Hand died Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Hospice and Community Care, Mt Joy. Born in Walnutport, she was the daughter of the late Alex and Anna Konkolics Zelinski. She was the wife of John W. Schell for 69 years. Margaret was a homemaker and a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. She was an avid reader, loved to travel and enjoyed the casino.
Besides her husband she is survived by: children, John J. Schell of Woodbridge, VA, Michael H. husband of Linda L. Schell of Columbia, Nancy I. wife of Clyde F. Holmes of Narvon, Thomas E. Schell of Bird-in-Hand, Jeffry J. husband of Wendy J. Schell of Bloomington, IL, James N. Schell of Tucson, AZ; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and a brother, Lawrence Zelinski. She was preceded in death by a daughter Kathleen Schell and ten brothers and sisters.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday, December 1, 2014 at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 501 E. Orange St., Lancaster. Friends may call Monday from 8:30 to 9:30 AM at Furman Home for Funerals, 59 W. Main St., Leola. Final commendation and farewell will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
