Margaret S. Long, 89, formerly of Newport, PA, entered into rest on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Harrison Senior Living, Christiana. Born in Gap, she was the daughter of the late Jonathan and Florence Shanks Lantz. She was the wife of the late Robert E. Long who died in 2016.
She will be lovingly missed by: four children, Donald “Butch” Boyer (Barb), Bruce Boyer (Sharon), Jackie Sandoe, Blaine Boyer (the late Debra); several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and spending time with family and friends.
Memorial service: Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Furman Home for Funerals, 59 W. Main Street, Leola, PA. The family will greet friends from 10 to 11 AM.
