Marie F. Micieli, 76, of 1560 Putnam Dr., Lancaster, died Tuesday August 13, 2013 at Glen Cove Hospital, Glen Cove, NY. Born in Queens, NY, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Philip and Jenifer Arbertello Sanita. She was the wife of the late Frank J. Micieli Sr. who died in 2005. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.
She is survived by: daughters, Gina Marie wife of Kenneth Finerty of Lancaster, Diane Marie Micieli of Levittown, NY; a son, Frank Joseph, Jr., husband of Jennifer Micieli of Levittown, NY; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Richard husband of Eileen Sanita of Strasburg, Vincent husband of Georgia Sanita of Ozone Park, NY and Philip Sanita of Whitestone, NY. She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, August 19, 2013 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 501 E. Orange St., Lancaster, at 11:00 AM. Final Commendation and Farewell at Mellingers Mennonite Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday, August 18, 2013, from 2-4:00 PM and 7-9:00 PM at Furman Home for Funerals, 59 W. Main St., Leola.
