Mary went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 24, 2013, at her home. She was the daughter of the late Jacob and Dorothy Groff Rissler.
Mary was very strong in her Christian faith. She had a loving heart and a giving soul. She loved to share the word of God with others. Her favorite scriptures include: Samuel 22: Micah 6; Acts 1-4; Matthew 1-7; Matthew 25 and Revelations 13-14. She spread the message to be good to others and treat them as you would want to be treated. She will be missed by those whose lives she had touched over the years.
She is survived by a daughter, Rosemarie of Lancaster and a brother, Maurice Rissler of McVeytown. She was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Mary Martin and a brother, Naaman Rissler.
The funeral will be held Friday, November 29, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Furman Home for Funerals, 59 W. Main St., Leola. Friends may call 10-11:00 AM on Friday at the funeral home. The Interment in Bareville Cemetery will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Easter Seals or The Salvation Army.
