Mary S. Esh, 91, of 876A Strasburg Road, Paradise, died on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at home. She was the wife of the late Samuel A. Esh who died in 2011. A daughter of the late Eli B. and Lydia Stoltzfus Smucker, Mrs. Esh was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Surviving are: five sons, Eli married to Anna Ruth Petersheim Esh, Stephen S. married to Mamie Riehl Esh, Samuel Jr. married to Linda Stoltzfus Esh, Emanuel S. married to Rachel Esh Esh, Abner S. married to Lavina Stoltzfus Esh, all of Paradise; four daughters, Sadie married to Amos King, Ronks, Amanda married to Jonas Stoltzfus, Gap, Lydia married to Amos Fisher, Paradise, Mary married to Aaron Beiler, New Holland; 44 grandchildren; 129 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Reuben married to Mary Smucker, Sarasota, FL, Abner married to Sadie Smucker, New Holland, Eli married to Annie Smucker, Gordonville, David married to Susie Smucker, Kinzers; five sisters, Naomi married to Samuel Esh, Susie married to Daniel Dienner, both Gap, Katie married to John Stoltzfus, Leola, Sadie married to Mose Lapp, Lydia married to Steve Esh, both Gordonville.
She was preceded in death by:son, Amos Esh; three grandsons; four great-grandchildren; four brothers, Amos, Jacob, John and Leroy Smucker; three sisters, Amanda King, Leah Esh and Annie Smucker.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 6, 2014, at the late home. Viewing: at the late home from the time of this notice till the service. Burial will take place in the Gordonville Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers.
