Matthew Henry Steller, 45, formerly of Lancaster, PA, entered into eternal rest, unexpectedly on Friday, July 24, 2015 in Asheville, NC. He was the fiancé of Nicole LaRue with whom he resided.
Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Donald K. and June L. Albright Steller, of Leola, PA. A 1988 Conestoga Valley High School graduate, he earned his Bachelor’s Degree from West Chester University where he was a member of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity. Matthew was well known as “Steller”, when he worked for Mean Cup, at Central Market.
He enjoyed all types of music, dancing, and singing. He was fun loving and most enjoyed making others laugh.
Matthew will be also be lovingly missed by: his brothers, Michael husband of Deb Frank Steller, Lancaster, Mark Steller, Leola; his sister, Susanne wife of Charles Alfonso, Langhorne; two nieces: Whitney Steller, Luisa Moncaleano, and four nephews: Chad Steller, Adam Steller, Zac Alfonso, and Zane Alfonso.
The Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015 at Neffsville Mennonite Church 2371 Lititz Pike. Lancaster, PA 17601. The family will greet friends from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Private interment of ashes will be at the family’s convenience. The family requests colorful outfits as he had such a colorful personality. Kindly omit flowers.
