Maxine G. Kyle, 88, of 197 Voganville Rd., New Holland, died October 5, 2014 at Masonic Village, Elizabethtown. Born in Jersey Shore, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Myrtle Holt Kissell. She was the wife of the late Charles P. Kyle, Jr., who died in 1993. Maxine retired from Dart and was a member of Zeltenreich Reformed Church. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, crossword puzzles and most of all her grandchildren.
She is survived by: a daughter, Stephanie K. wife of Donald E. Glick of New Holland; sons, Harold Bierly of Phoenix, AZ, Wayne husband of Linda Bierly of Muncy; grandchildren, Seth Dochtor of New Holland, Nathaniel husband of Kayla Glick of Harrisburg, Alyssa Glick of New Holland, Wayne Bierly, Jr. of Muncy; great-grandchildren, Lucas and Zoe Dochtor. She was preceded in death by: sisters, Clara White, Betty Shoemaker and a brother, Elmer Kissell.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Zeltenreich Reformed Church, 752 Hollander Rd, New Holland. Friends may call Wednesday, 1-2:00 PM at the church. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
