Menno K. “Shorty” Stoltzfus, 89, of Landis Homes, Lititz formerly of Hollsopple, PA went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2019. Born in Ronks, he was the son of the late Christ P. and Malinda King Stoltzfus. He was the loving husband of Mildred B. Smoker Stoltzfus who died in 2016.
A carpenter by trade, Mr. Stoltzfus was a member of the East Petersburg Mennonite Church. He enjoyed reading, gardening and socializing.
He is survived by: two children, Marian Louise Stoltzfus, Friendship Community, Milton married to Lois Brubaker Stoltzfus, Ephrata; siblings, Ephraim married to Annie Stoltzfus, Daniel married to the late Katie Stoltzfus, both of Cambridge, Leah Lantz, Narvon. He was preceded in death by: a daughter, Marcia Sue Stoltzfus; siblings, John, Isaac, Leroy, Christ, Eli, David, Katie and Rebecca Stoltzfus.
Funeral Services: Monday, Mar. 4, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at the East Petersburg Mennonite Church, 6279 Main St., E. Petersburg. Viewings: Sunday, 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. at Landis Homes Bethany West Chapel, 1001 E. Oregon Rd., Lititz and from 9 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. at E. Petersburg Mennonite Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions are welcomed to: Friendship Community, 1149 E. Oregon Rd., Lititz, PA 17543. Interment: Maple Grove Mennonite Cemetery.
