Michael L. Nessinger, 74, of Leola, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at his residence. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Leroy S. and Gloria Hean Nessinger. Micheal was a 1969 graduate of McCaskey High School. He was the husband of Jean L. Gallagher Nessinger. He was the owner of Nessinger’s Automotive on Harrisburg Pike, Lancaster. Michael loved the outdoors and vacationing with his wife and friends. He was a member of the Thunderbirds Motorcycle Club and was a Cubmaster for Troop 82 in Brownstown.
Besides his wife, he is survived by: a son, Sean Nessinger of Leola and a daughter, Brittany Nessinger of Elizabethtown. He was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Nessinger.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 2, 2026 at 10:30 am at Furman Home for Funerals, 59 W. Main St., Leola, PA. Family will greet friends on Monday from 9-10:30 am at the Funeral Home.
