Miriam E. Bair Buckwalter, 85, of Landis Homes, died January 12, 2013 at her residence. Born in Brownstown, she was the daughter of the late H. Landis and E l i z a b e t h Mellinger Bair. She was the wife of the late Leon H. Buckwalter who died in 2006. She was a member of the Akron Mennonite Church. She is survived by sons, L. Herbert husband of Virginia Benson Buckwalter of Toronto, ON, Fredric N. husband of Carolyn Mundy Buckwalter of Lititz, PA; daughters, Dana B. wife of Thomas C. Carson of Wichita, KS, Lori L. wife of Brigham C. Klassen of Mountain Lake, MN; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; two great-grandsons and a sister, Martha J. Bair Hershey wife of Ben D. Hershey of Lititz, PA. She was preceded in death by a sister, Anna Ruth Bair Longenecker, and a brother, J. Mark Bair. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Akron Mennonite Church, 1311 Diamond St., Akron, PA at 11:00 AM. The interment will be private.
