Nancy E. Denlinger, 89, of Trillium Place, died on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at her residence. Born in York, she was the daughter of the late Frederick E. and Dorothy R. Anstine Bosserman. She was the wife of the late Carl R. Denlinger. They were married for 67 years.
Nancy was a graduate of Elizabethtown College, where she met her husband Carl, and received a B.S. in English, Biological Science, and Social Studies. She began her career teaching core curriculum to 7th and 8th graders at North York Junior High. After starting her family, she became a substitute teacher for Hempfield and Warwick school districts. She then taught preschool at Lancaster Church of the Brethren and St. Peter’s. Once her children were older, Nancy worked at Union National Bank of Mount Joy and Landisville as a bank teller.
Nancy was a member of the Lancaster Church of the Brethren. She enjoyed working outside in her flower gardens, taking beach vacations, and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren. A favorite treat for Nancy was an iced coffee and a McDonald’s cheeseburger.
Nancy is survived by three daughters: Cheryl, wife of Peter Perrotta of Holly Springs, NC; Christine, wife of John Kelsey of Lake Linden, MI; and Cathleen, wife of George Betz, Landisville, PA. Nancy is also survived by seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, three nephews, and one niece. She was preceded in death by a sister, Susan A. Tawney.
The family would like to thank Trillium Place, specifically Dr. Goveia and the Jackson Run staff, along with Hospice for Nancy’s compassionate care.
