Nancy Lee Ritschard (Almond), 67, formerly of Boyertown, passed away on September 27, 2014 in Muscle Shoals, AL, where she had been residing the past six months.
She was the daughter of Norma Mae (Kessler) Ritschard and the late Frank Edward Ritschard.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by: four daughters, Tami Faith Miller, Tori Hope Dennis, Tiffani
Charity Williams, and Kelly L. Boyer; eight grandchildren, William Bailey, Ahren Miller, Kyle Bailey, Zachary Miller, Katherine Dennis, Kaitlin Dennis, Brandon Miller, and Karaline Dennis; three step-grandchildren are Ethan, Olivia, and Seth Boyer; a sister of Shirley Ann (Ritschard) Reigner, wife of Kent Reigner.
In grade school, Nancy enjoyed Girl Scout Troop 100 and earned many Girl Scout badges. Nancy was a 1964 graduate of Boyertown High School, although she attended OJR for the majority of her school years. She graduated from Empire Beauty School in 1965. She was an active member of St. Vincent
United Church of Christ, where she was baptized, married, and sang in choir. All of her life, she had a love for cats and dogs. She had a good heart.
Funeral services will be held on October 4, 2014, at 11 AM from St. Vincent UCC, 137 Ridge Rd. (Route 23), Phoenixville, PA. A viewing will begin at 10 to 11 am. Flowers are welcome. Nancy loved daisies. Her favorite charities were PAWS and St. Vincent UCC’s benevolent fund.
