Patricia Ann Cornette, 93, formerly of Leola, passed away at Evergreen Estates Retirement Community on Wednesday, December 13, 2023. Pat was born in Cambridge, Ohio. Pat’s husband, James Edward Cornette, passed away in October, 2018 after 67 years of marriage.
Pat was a former member of the Dutchland Polkateers. She enjoyed music, dancing, and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed reading, shopping, and playing games. Pat’s grandchildren and great- grandchildren bought her the greatest pride and joy.
Pat is survived by: three daughters and spouses, Debra and Jeffrey Creamer, Susan and Todd Nonnenmocher, and Kimberly and Brett Kreider; six grandchildren, Mike Creamer, Matt Creamer, Josh Nonnenmocher, Jessica Bireley, Amber Wingenroth, and Jared Kreider; seven great- grandchildren, Brooke and Bella Creamer, Emily Creamer, Wyatt and Lincoln Wingenroth, and Cora and Callum Nonnenmocher; her sister, Linda Voorhies of Cambridge, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family is extremely grateful for the outstanding care for the last three years provided by all of the Evergreen Estates staff, the therapy provided by the wonderful staff members of Functional Freedom, and most recently for the support and loving care from the Memory Care staff as well as members of Grane Hospice.
