A celebration of life service for Paul Jacobs will be on Saturday, August 16, 2025. It will be held at Manor Church, 530 Central Manor Rd., Lancaster. Visitation starts at 1:30. The service will be at 3PM, followed by a Tea Time of fellowship and sharing. Paul loved the outdoors so we will be moving things outside for a picnic at 5PM. In Lieu of flowers please donate in Paul’s honor to the following charities: Lancaster Bicycle Club, WXPN, Lancaster Conservancy and donate blood. Paul Evan Jacobs passed June 21st at Hershey Medical Center after a very brief diagnosis of multiple myeloma. He was born in Shirati, Tanzania, he graduated from Hempfield High and Millersville University. At the age of 16 he was the photographer for his older sister’s wedding, and he never looked back. He was the owner of his own studio: Paul Jacobs Photography. His wife is planning to continue the business in his honor. He’ll be greatly missed by those who joined him in his passions for bicycling, hiking and backpacking in the bitter cold or just enjoying nature.
He is survived by his wife Tammy (Smith), son Evan, daughter Elizabeth, mother Anna Ruth, siblings Jane Stoltzfus, David and Alan and their children.
