Paul G. Moore, 79, of Lancaster, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at his home. Born in Paradise, he was the son of the late Paul Moore and Edna Steiger Moore Reubincan. He was the husband of Mary Ann Parmer Moore. His first wife, Dorothy Rettew Moore, died in 1982. Paul served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Paul worked as an HVAC serviceman for Gerlach’s. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, New Holland. He enjoyed camping, boating and bird-watching. He also liked classic cars and NASCAR. Surviving in addition to his wife are: three daughters, Debra wife of Jeffrey Gast, Karen wife of Randy Wealand, and Joyce wife of Jeff Kauffman; 5 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; 3 sisters, Jean Yoder, Pat Steffy, and Joanne wife of Galen Stoltzfus. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Jane Morris, and a brother, Henry Moore. Funeral services will be held from the Furman Home for Funerals, 59 W. Main St., Leola on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 2 PM with interment following in Paradise Mennonite Cemetery. The family will visit with friends from 1 to 2 PM at the funeral home on Saturday.
