Paul S. Wyble passed away at his home in New Holland, Pennsylvania on March 2, 2013 after a short illness. He was born in Weaverland on December 2, 1920 to the late Harry and Minnie Shelley Wyble and was the husband of Margaret E. Wyble. He was a member of Groffdale Mennonite Church in Leola, Pennsylvania. After retiring from farming he worked for ABC Groff in New Holland, where he set up farm machinery and drove truck to deliver farm equipment. Paul was an avid hunter and a life long member of Beulaland Hunting Club. He also enjoyed fishing, golfing and bowling. He loved to meet people in the Amish community and provide transportation for going to the doctor, visiting friends and taking goods to market. He enjoyed reading the newspaper, watching news channels and keeping up to date on politics. Paul is survived by his wife Margaret and children Robert R., husband of Naomi (Nolt) Wyble of Ephrata, Glenn C., husband of Janice (Musser) Wyble of Doyles-town, Marlene M., wife of D. Lamar Geissinger of Ronks, Carylon M. Wyble of Lancaster, Gerald L., husband of Cheryl (Snader) Wyble of Landisville and Mary Jane, wife of the late Dale L. Martin of New Holland, 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Friday, March 8, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at Groffdale Mennonite Church, 168 N. Groffdale Road, Leola. An additional viewing will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2013 from 9 to 10 a.m., followed by his funeral service at 10 a.m. at the Groffdale Mennonite Church with Pastor Tom Eshleman officiating. Interment will take place in the Groffdale Mennonite Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Paul’s memory may be made to Groffdale Mennonite Church, 168 N.
