Rachel S. Stoltzfus, 75, 5904 Old Philadelphia Pike, Gap, died on Monday afternoon, Dec. 7, 2015. She was the wife of Samuel B. Stoltzfus and late Amos B. Zook who died in 2005.  Born in Gordonville, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Elizabeth Lapp.  A homemaker, Mrs. Stoltzfus was a member of the Old Order Amish Church. 

 

Also surviving are: five sons, Leroy married to Rachel Lapp Zook, Loysville, Chester married to Linda King Zook, Kinzers, Elmer married to Frieda Smucker Zook, E. Earl, Stevie married to Fannie Smucker Zook, Narvon, Joe married to Lillian Stoltzfus Zook, Gap; five daughters, Priscilla married to John Glick, Gordonville, Sadie married to John Esh, New Holland, Naomi married to Steven Stoltzfus, Lake Harmony, Rose Anna married to Leroy King, Ronks, Dorothy married to David Fisher, Paradise; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; step-sons, J. Elmer married to Naomi Stoltzfus, Narvon, Ervan married to Naomi Stoltzfus, Narvon, Emanuel married to Ruth Stoltzfus, Gap, Samuel Jr. married to Sarah Stoltzfus, Garnett, KS; a number of step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 13 siblings, Anna married to the late Crist King,  Rebersburg, John married to Barbara Lapp, Gordonville, Alvin married to Fannie Lapp, Gap, Sarah married to the late Daniel Stoltzfus, NY, Saloma married to the late Jacob Esch, New Providence, David married to Lydia Lapp, Kinzers, Daniel married to Sylvia Lapp, Mill Hall, Sylvia married to Roy Fisher, Quarryville, Jacob married to Suvilla Lapp, Ronks, Reuben married to Anna Lapp, Strasburg, Henry married to Barbara Lapp, Loysville, Amos married to Sadie Lapp, Leola, Priscilla married to Daniel Kauffman, Honey Brook.

 

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2015 at 11 a.m. from the late home.  Interment: Gordonville Cemetery.  Viewing: at the late home from the time of this notice till the service. Kindly omit flowers.
