Rebecca S. Fisher, 93, of 3330 W. Pequea Lane, Gordonville, passed away Friday, February 16, 2024 at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy. Born in Bird-in-Hand, she was the daughter of the late Amos E. and Lavina Stoltzfus Stoltzfus. She was the wife of the late Samuel E. Fisher who died in 1996. A homemaker, Rebecca was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Surviving are: 10 children, Elizabeth married to Samuel S. Esh, Quarryville, John S. married to Rachel Kauffman Fisher, Gordonville, Lavina married to John S. Blank, Cochranville, Mary married to Amos Stoltzfus, Lititz, Rebecca married to Omar S. Stoltzfus, Elmer S. married to Sadie Stoltzfus Fisher, Samuel E. Jr., married to Sarah King Fisher, all of Gordonville, Stevie S. married to Sadie Stoltzfus Fisher, Ronks, Anna married to Benuel F. Beiler, Drumore, Elam S. married to Sally Riehl Fisher, Honey Brook; 86 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Amos S. Fisher.
Funeral services will be from the late home on Monday, February 19, 2024 at 9 am with interment following in Myer’s Cemetery. The viewing will be at the late home from the time of this notice till the service.
