     Richard B. “Dick" Nolt, 95, of Brethren Village, formerly of Bird-in-Hand and Landisville died Thursday, February 27, 2014 at his residence. Born in E. Hempfield Township, he was the son of the late Reuben and Mary Bless Nolt. He was the husband of Eva Clymer Nolt and the late Ruth Sollenberger Nolt who died in 1974. He was a shipping manager for Ezra Martin Meats and an Amish taxi driver. He was a member of Neffsville Mennonite Church and attended Mellingers Mennonite Church. 

   Besides his wife, he is survived by: three sons, Jerry R. husband of Joanne M. Nolt of Lititz, J. Marlan husband of Susan E. Nolt of Ephrata, Verle E. husband of Janell V. Nolt of Conestoga; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by sisters, Lavina Musser and Beatrice Becker.

    A memorial service will be held on Saturday March 1, 2014 at Brethren Village Chapel, 3001 Lititz Pike, Lancaster, at 6:30 PM. Friends may call Saturday 6-6:30 PM at the chapel. In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Brethren Village Benevolent Fund, P.O. Box 5093, Lancaster 17606-5093.
