Richard J. Fellows, 96, a proud U. S. Marine Corps veteran of Palmyra, formerly of Lancaster, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2025. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Eleanor Fellows, and his sister, Robinette Jacobs. Richard is survived by his two daughters, Lisa Newton (married to Bob Newton) and Linda Wellin, as well as his cherished grandchildren, Chad Martin, Sami Weiss and Heather Ross. He also leaves behind six great-grandchildren and a sister, Joann Miller.
Richard enjoyed a long career with Lancaster Newspapers and was known for gardening, woodworking and crossword puzzles.
A private family service will be planned in his honor.
