Richard L. “Finner” Finefrock, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully after a life filled with love, laughter, and flowers. He was married to his cherished wife, Janice, for 68 years—a true testament to enduring love.
Richard was the proud father of Bill (Brenda), Kim (Jim), and Troy (Shelley). Devoted Pop Pop to Morgan (Sean), Chyna (Alexander), Michael (Gabby), Paige (Jon), Branston and Angel Kylie Kay. Dedicated Great Pop Pop to Domenick, Avelina and Nico. Each of whom brought him immense joy.
Born in Lancaster County, he was the son of the late Edward E. and Helen (Ream) Finefrock. He is survived by 3 of siblings: Helen DeHaven, New Holland, Theodore married to Sharon (Stover) Finefrock, Leola and Jo Ann married to Ronald Yoder, New Holland.
A talented florist for 65 years, Richard had a gift for making the world more beautiful. But more than his artistry with flowers, he was known for his incredible sense of humor. Richard could make anyone laugh—his quick wit, sharp one-liners, and infectious spirit made him the kind of person everyone loved to be around.
A celebration of life will be held on June 1st at Salem UM Church, 1744 Old Rothsville Rd, Lititz, Pa with a visitation starting at 1pm and the celebration at 2pm.
In lieu of flowers our family asks that you continue to support Janice as she starts her new journey.
