     Robert A. Riehl, 80, of 206 S. Brookfield Lane, New Holland, died unexpectedly on October, 19, 2015 at his residence. Born in White Horse, he was the son of the late Isaac B. and Cora E. Miller Riehl. He was the husband of Theda M. Poff Riehl. They were married for 57 years. He served in the 1-W service in Philadelphia. When he returned home he was a farmhand in Morgantown. He began driving truck for Denlinger Feed Mill then was a driver for New Holland Concrete. After his retirement, he was a taxi driver for Amish businessmen for Rueben Smucker and Sons Family Businesses. He was a member of Grace Family Church for 47 years where he was head usher, greeter and served on the hospitality committee. He also volunteered his time at Camp Conquest in Reinholds. He enjoyed attending auctions, yard sales, and the New Holland Sale Stable where he like to pitch quoits or play cards. But most of all, he loved to spend time with his family.

    He is survived by; children, Bradley Riehl companion of Pamela Martin of New Holland, Beth  wife of Darin Taylor of Ephrata, Brent husband of Karen Riehl of Ephrata; grandchildren Brandon, Jacob, Noah of New Holland, Sarah, Micah, Jebediah, Maelene of Ephrata; Great-grandson Elijahl; siblings, Jean Moore, Virginia Bender both of Delaware, Dorothy Blank of Ickesburg, Jerry Riehl, Bertie Smoker both of Lancaster, Norma Retallack of Dover, Kenneth Riehl of Ephrata, Donald Riehl of New Holland and John Riehl of Lancaster. He was preceded in death by a brother Leroy Riehl.

    The funeral will be held on Friday, October 23, 2015 at 11:00 am at Grace Family Church, 415 S. Kinzer Rd., New Holland. Friends may call Thursday, October 22, from 6-8:00 pm and Friday 10-11:00 am at the church. Interment will be in Zeltenreich Church Cemetery.
