Robert C. Feltman, 86, of Lancaster, PA, went home to be with his Lord and Saviour on Saturday, June 13, 2026. Born February 29, 1940, in Minneapolis, MN, he was the son of the late Carl D. and Shirley D. Feltman. Bob was the beloved husband of Ruth Feltman and the late Carole-Ann Feltman.

Bob was a former principal at Schaeffer and Brecht Elementary Schools in the Manheim Township School District, where he made a lasting impact on students, families, and colleagues. A longtime member of Faith E.C. Church, he served faithfully in many capacities over the years. In his free time, he enjoyed tending his rose bushes, volunteering, and spending time with his family. Bob was rarely without his camera. Photographing family events was his passion.

To know Bob was to witness a life marked by faithfulness, uncommon generosity, and unwavering devotion to God, family, and others. He was a beloved educator, a faithful servant of Christ, and a true patriarch whose influence reached far beyond the walls of a school or church. Through decades of discipleship, service, encouragement, and sacrifice, he invested in countless lives.

Bob’s love for Jesus shaped every part of his life. His commitment to family was profound, and his support of those he loved was steadfast and selfless. In a world where such men seem increasingly rare, he stood as a living example of integrity, humility, and grace, making the lives of those who knew him richer, better, and more blessed. He will be deeply missed.

In addition to his wife, Ruth, Bob is survived by his two children and their spouses, Michael Feltman (Jodi) and Douglas Feltman (Maryann); his stepchildren, Tracey Kimball (Blaine), Cynthia Gustafson, and Gregory Bixler (Jennifer); and 13 beloved grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Richard Feltman (Sandra) and Sue Rose (Charles). He was preceded in death by his brother, Rex Feltman (Betsy).

A graveside service will be held at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery, 1918 Lincoln Highway East, Lancaster, PA, on June 25 at 1:00 p.m. Following the graveside service, a Celebration of Life will be held at Faith Evangelical Congregational Church, 2124 Old Philadelphia Pike, Lancaster, PA, at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Conestoga Valley Christian Community Services of Lancaster, PA.
