Robert E. Miles, 87, of 294 Rolling Terrace, Leola, died Friday, October 14, 2016 at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy. Born in Holtwood, he was the son of the late John and Maude Bard Miles. Robert was the husband of Audrey Snyder Miles. He was a draftsman at the former RCA, GE, and Burle Industries. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and enjoyed model railroading.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Cathy wife of Richard MacNeal of Tucson, AZ, Laurie wife of Steve Jaixen of Gilbert, AZ, Michael husband of Patricia Miles of Newark, DE and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother Kenneth Miles and sister Neva Oeshger. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hospice and Community Care, P.O.
