Robert “Pete” Martin, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at his residence in Denver, PA. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Abel and Anna Mary Hufford Martin. Pete was the husband of Naomi Stoltzfus Martin. He retired as an excavator from the Horst Group and was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Bowmansville. He was a volunteer fire-fighter for over 20 years. Pete enjoyed hunting, camping and spending time with his family and friends.
Besides his wife, he is survived by: children, Robert L Martin fiancé of Angela Ulrich of Middleburg, Fred D. husband of Shelly Kissinger Martin of Denver, Randy D. husband of Tammy Weinhold Martin of Reamstown, Jeff A. husband of Jennifer Richie Martin of Manheim, Jessica L. wife of Jason J. Earhart of Akron: 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; siblings, Ruth Stauffer of Ephrata, Skip Martin of New Holland. He was preceded in death by: sister, Irene Zoll and brother, Charles Martin.
The funeral will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024 at 11:00 am at St. John’s Center United Church of Christ, 432 Reading Rd., East Earl, PA. A viewing will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2024 from 6-8:00 pm at Furman Home for Funerals, 59 W. Main St, Leola PA and Friday10- 11:00 am at the church. Interment will be in Center Church Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Bowmansville.
