Ronald C. Holmes, 79, of Narvon, passed away Friday, February 17, 2017 at Ephrata Community Hospital. Born in Boothbay Harbor, Maine, he was the son of James and Maxine Fosett Holmes. He was the husband of the late Donna Baum Holmes.
Ronald served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Konflict. After moving to Pennsylvania in 1965, he worked as mechanic for Jim Ford’s Garage and Gable’s Garage in Honey Brook until he retired.
Surviving are: a son, Ronald Scott wife of Regina Holmes of Downingtown; two grandchildren, Brittany and Cody Holmes; siblings, Joe married to Connie Holmes, Marguerite Fink, Clyde married to Nancy Holmes, Jimmy married to Diana Holmes, Natalie married to Dale Grover; and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: two brothers, Bobby and Galen; a sister Barbara; and a brother-in-law Dale Fink.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
