Ronald E. Wise, 67, of New Holland died at home Sunday, November 9, 2014 from complications of a stroke.
He was born at home, the son of the late Paul L. and Ruth E. Charles Wise. Ron was an Army veteran and spent most of his career in two former textile mills: Frank Ix's in New Holland and Weave Corp., Denver. He belonged to the New Holland American Legion.
He is survived by: his wife, JoVaughn at home; one sister, Julie wife of John Badorf, Lititz; one sister-in-law, Gladys Wise, Delaware; four nieces and nephews, Kathy Norris, Karen Horst, Paul L. Wise III and Theresa Wise.
Ron is preceded in death by one brother, Paul L. Wise, Jr.
At Ron's request, there will be no memorial service. Contributions may be made to Hospice and Community Care, PO Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.
The family would like to thank the staff at LGH and Hospice for Ron's great care. His last wish was to pass away at home and Hospice makes that possible with dignity.
