Roy L. Stoltzfus, 77, of 170 S. Groffdale Rd., Leola, passed away unexpectedly due to a fall at Groffdale Machine, Leola on Tuesday, April 30, 2019. He also was under a physician's care. Born in Leola, he was the son of the late Roy and Lizzie Lapp Stoltzfus. He was the husband of Emma K. Petersheim Stoltzfus. They were married 54 years last November. A welder for Groffdale Machine, Mr. Stoltzfus was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife are: two sons, Abner husband of Mary Glick Stoltzfus, Dauphin, Isaac husband of Rachel Ebersol Stoltzfus, Leola; five daughters, Anna Mary wife of Sylvan Fisher, New Holland, Lydia wife of John Stoltzfoos, Leola, Barbie wife of Jake King, Lancaster, Susie wife of Noah Zook, SC, Lizzie wife of Daniel Fisher, Leola; 37 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; brothers, Daniel (Dorothy), Reuben (Sadie), Benuel (Rebecca), Leon (Lydia); sisters, Annie (John) Fisher, Rachel (Eli) Dienner; sister-in-law, Lydia Stoltzfus. He was preceded in death by: a stillborn daughter; brothers, Henry, Ivan and Elmer; sisters, Sadie and Becky.
Funeral Services: 11 a.m. EST, Thursday, May 2, 2019 at the late home with viewing there till the service. Interment: Myer's Cemetery, Leola.
