Ruth S. Esh, 81, of 3663 E. Pequea Lane, Gordonville, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at home after a lengthy illness. She was the daughter of the late David E. and Lydia Smoker Huyard. She was the wife of Leroy S. Esh.
Mrs. Esh was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Also surviving are: four sons, David husband of Frieda Smucker Esh, Steven husband of Lydia Smucker Esh, Melvin husband of Sally Ann Fisher Esh, all of Gordonville, Samuel Esh, at home; two daughters, Lydia wife of Ivan Fisher, Gordonville, Linda wife of Emanuel Lantz, Lititz; 25 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three brothers, David Huyard, Harrisonburg, VA, Melvin husband of Estrella Huyard, Leola, Isaac husband of Elizabeth Huyard, New Holland. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren.
The funeral will be on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at 10 AM EST from the late home. Interment: Gordonville Cemetery. Friends may call from the time of this notice till the service at the late home. Kindly omit flowers.
