Sadie Ruth Zook, 52, of 225A Osceola Mill Road, Gordonville, died Sunday November 23, 2014 at her home. Born in Christiana, she was the daughter of Samuel K. and the late Susie Stoltzfoos Stoltzfus. She was the wife of Melvin S. Zook. She was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Besides her husband and father, she is survived by her step-mother Sylvia Stoltzfus; children, John husband of Edna Stoltzfus Zook, David husband of Susie Lapp Zook both of Gordonville, Susanna wife of Aaron Smucker of Holtwood, Esther wife of David Esh of Ronks, Elizabeth wife of Amos King of Gordonville, Melvin Zook Jr., Sara B. Zook, both at home; sisters and brothers, Fannie wife of Joe Zook, Elizabeth King, Anna wife of Ben Stoltzfus all of Gap, David husband of Elizabeth Stoltzfus of Coatesville, Chester husband of Barbie Stoltzfus of Ronks, Samuel husband of Martha Stoltzfus of Gap, Naomi wife of Amos Stoltzfus of Kinzers, Catherine wife of Stephen King of Gordonville, Leroy husband of Verna Stoltfus of Coatesville and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Elmer King.
The funeral will be Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at 9:00 AM at the home of Samuel Stoltzfus, 227B Osceola Mill Road, Gordonville. Friends may call from the time of this notice till the service at the late home. Kindly omit flowers. Interment will be in Millwood Cemetery.
