Samuel B. Stoltzfus, 66, of Gordonville, a loving husband, father and grandfather died unexpectedly at his home on July 30, 2014. He was married 44 years to his beloved wife, Anna Mae King Stoltzfus. Born in Leola, he was the son of the late Melvin and Fannie Beiler Stoltzfus. Sam was an ordained deacon for 39 years and a member of Bethel Christian Fellowship, Morgantown.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by six children: John Lee married to Verna, New Holland, Linda married to Emanuel Zook, Narvon, Edward married to Mary, Narvon, Samuel, married to Michelle, Narvon, Lydia married to Conrad Beiler, Crosshill, SC, Naomi married to Jada Stoltzfus, New Holland; 27 grandchildren. One grandson preceded him in death.
Also surviving are: two sisters, Edna Stoltzfus, Kinzers, Fannie wife of Menno Stoltzfus, Leola; two brothers, Aaron, Manheim, Isaac husband of Ada, Mifflinburg. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Daniel B., Omar, and Melvin, and one sister, Katie.
A viewing will be at Weavertown Amish-Mennonite Church 2900 Church Rd, Bird-in-Hand, on Friday, August 1, 2014 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Funeral services will be held at Weavertown Church on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 1 pm with interment following in the adjoining cemetery.
