Samuel K. Stoltzfus, 85, of 178 Geist Road, Lancaster, passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at home. He was the son of the late David and Elizabeth (Fisher) Stoltzfus. Samuel was a retired dairy farmer and member of the Old Order Amish Church.
He is survived by his spouse Sylvia Glick Stoltzfus; five daughters, Fannie married to Joe Zook of Gap, Elizabeth married to the late Elmer King of New Holland, Anna married to Ben Stoltzfus of Gap, Naomi married to Amos Stoltzfus of Kinzers, Catherine married to Stephen King of Gordonville; four sons, David married to Elizabeth Stoltzfus Stoltzfus of Coatesville, Chester married to Barbie Esch Stoltzfus of Ronks, Samuel married to Martha Allgyer Stoltzfus of Gap, Leroy married to Verna Stoltzfus Stoltzfus of Gap; son-in-law, Melvin Zook married to Mary Glick Zook of Gordonville; brother, Elam married to Lydia Stoltzfus of Kinzers; three sisters, Fannie married to the late Melvin Beiler of Gap, Emma married to the late David Stoltzfoos of Gap, Lydia married to Samuel Stoltzfoos of East Earl; sister-in-law, Fannie Stoltzfus of Romulus, NY; brother-in-law, Jonas married to Elsie Zook of Gap.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Susie B. Stoltzfoos Stoltzfus who died in 1992; a daughter, Sadie Ruth Zook; brother, Tobias Stoltzfus; sisters, Katie Stoltzfus, Barbara Zook; sister-in-law, Lydia Ann Stoltzfus.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Nov.11, 2017 at 9:00 am at the Henry Esh residence, 2083 Forry Road, Lancaster. Viewing: at the late home till the service. Interment: Millwood Cemetery, Gap. Kindly omit flowers.
