Samuel L. Stoltzfus, 75, of 5746 Old Philadelphia Pike, Gap, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 8, 2018 surrounded by family. Born in Gordonville, he was the son of the late Samuel E. and Katie King Stoltzfus. He was the husband of Malinda S. King Stoltzfus. A member of the Old Order Amish Church, he worked as a carpenter for B&B Structures, Bird-in-Hand.
Surviving besides his wife are five children: David married to Hanna Stoltzfus Stoltzfus, Rose Anna married to Daniel A. King, both Narvon, Katie Mae married to John Mark Stoltzfoos, Gap, Verna Mae married to Leroy S. Stoltzfus, Coatesville, Samuel L. Jr., New Holland; 23 grandchildren; siblings, Amos married to Hannah Stoltzfus, Millington, MD, Lloyd married to Debbie Stoltzfus, New Holland, Priscilla married to the late Emanuel Beiler, Bridgeport, Katie married to the late Benuel F. Stoltzfus, Honey Brook, Sadie married to Daniel Stoltzfus, McVeytown; brother-in-law, Lloyd Stoltzfus, Ronks. Two sisters, Annie Stoltzfus and Naomi Blank preceded him in death.
Funeral Services: Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2018 at 11 a.m. from the home of Mervin King, 5803 Old Philadelphia Pike, Gap. Viewing: at the late home till the service. Interment: Buena Vista Cemetery.
