Samuel N. Reiff, 83, of New Holland, entered into rest at Hickory House, Honey Brook, on Friday, June 15, 2018. Born in Upper Leacock Twp., he was the son of the late Samuel and Susanna Nolt Reiff. He was the husband of the late Anna Z. Martin Reiff who died in 1975. Mr. Reiff was a self-employed farmer and truck driver hauling for various companies over the years. He enjoyed tractors and tractor pulls, raising rabbits, and winning at checkers.
Mr. Reiff will be lovingly missed by three children: Jerry married to Patti Reiff, Janie married to Rodney Horning, Ray Reiff, all of New Holland; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; siblings, Edna wife of the late Martin Hoover, Susanna wife of the late Isaac Hoover, both of New Holland; a daughter-in-law, Cindi Reiff, of Leola. A son, Elvin; brothers, Aaron and John; and sisters, Lizzie Martin and Ella Zimmerman preceded him in death.
There will be a viewing on Thursday, June 21, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Furman Home for Funerals, 59 W. Main St., Leola. Interment will be at the family's convenience. Kindly omit flowers. Memorials are welcomed to: Holisticare Hospice, 685 Kromer Ave., Berwyn, PA 19312.
