Samuel S. Zook, 76, of 897 Musser School Rd., Gordonville, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Gordonville, he was the son of the late Benjamin K. and Annie Stoltzfoos Zook. He was the husband of Barbara Fisher Zook. They were married 53 years in November. Mr. Zook was a retired shop worker and farmer and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Surviving are: five children, Levi husband of Naomi Beiler Zook, Gordonville, Emma, Ben, Anna and Jonas Zook, all at home; four grandchildren; three sisters, Sarah widow of Leroy Stoltzfus, Mill Hall, PA, Jemima and Mary Zook, both of Gordonville.
The funeral will be Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 9:00 AM from the late home. Interment: Myer's Cemetery, Leola. Kindly omit flowers. Viewing: from the time of this notice till the service at the late home.
