Susie Ann Riehl, 74, of 3153 Old Philadelphia Pike, Bird-in-Hand, entered into rest on Friday, October 10, 2014 after a brief illness. She was the wife of Henry L. Riehl. They were married on Nov. 8, 1962. A homemaker, Mrs. Riehl was a member of the Old Order Amish Church. Born in Gordonville, she was the daughter of the late Jonathan and Lydia Petersheim Beiler.
Also surviving are: six children, Lydia Jane married to John Riehl, Bird-in-Hand, Martha Ann married to Steve Lapp, Petersburg, Huntington County, Wilmer married to Sara Ann Riehl, Gordonville, Sylvan married to Rebecca Faye Riehl, Gordonville, David married to Twila Riehl, Canyon City, CO, Ivan married to Mary Riehl, New Holland; 33 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Amanda married to Menno Stoltzfus, Narvon, Rebecca married to the late Stevie Stoltzfus, Bird-in-Hand, her twin sister, Sarah married to Samuel Fisher, Chuckey, TN.
The funeral will be 9 a.m. EST, Monday, Oct. 13, 2014 at the Samuel Zook residence, 3142 Old Philadelphia Pike, Bird-in-Hand. Viewing: at the late home from the time of this notice till the service. Interment: Myer’s Cemetery, Leola.
