Susie G. Smoker, 82, of 46-A Hartman Bridge Rd. Lancaster, died Friday, March 14, 2014 at her home following a brief illness. Born in Bird-In-Hand, she was the daughter of Amos and Mary Glick King. She was the wife of Israel K. Smoker. She was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband are: two daughters, Sadie Mae wife of John Stoltzfus of Lancaster, Edna Marie wife of Amos Esh of Intercourse; one son, John Mervin husband of Lillian Smoker of Gordonville; son-in-law, John husband of Susie Zook of Dornsife; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 11 step grandchildren; 18 step great-grandchildren; one brother, Amos husband of Janie King of Lancaster; 3 sisters, Lydia wife of Samuel H. Beiler and Katie King, both of Bird-In-Hand, Sadie wife of Levi Lantz of Gordonville; 3 sisters-in-law, Susie King of Leola, Lydia King of Christiana, Christiann King of Blain. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Ann Zook, and 4 brothers, John, Jacob, Daniel and Aaron King.
Funeral services will be held from the late home on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 1 PM EST with interment following in Beiler's Cemetery, Ronks. Friends may call at the late home from the time of this notice until the time of the service. Kindly omit flowers.
