Victoria B. Ponzo, 79, formerly of Newtown Square, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2013 at Brethren Village, Lancaster. She shared 57 years of marriage with her beloved h u s b a n d , Robert P. Ponzo. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Felix and Irene Rubino Battista. Victoria worked as an office manager for the former Bell Telephone Co. for 20 years. She also worked for Chester County, holding several positions. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in New Holland. She was also active in the SS. Simon and Jude Catholic Church in Westtown, PA. She enjoyed gardening and bird watching. In addition to her husband, she is survived by: 2 daughters, Donna Ponzo of Denver, Deborah wife of David Sletvold of Downingtown; 2 grandchildren, Nathan and Kelli Sletvold. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 150 Water St., New Holland, on Friday, April 12, 2013 at 11 AM. The family will visit with friends from 10 to 11 AM at the church on Friday.
