William Dean Terry, age 55, passed away on December 3, 2025, at Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Wilma Terry and the late Robert D. Terry, and grew up in Leola, PA.
Will was a member of the first class of Landisville Learning Center to graduate from Hempfield High School. He worked at EARS, Ephrata Area Rehab Services, for more than 25 years. He most recently enjoyed drawing and dancing. In his younger days he was able to participate in numerous camps and activities for special-needs individuals. He attended the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd and the Special Sunday School Class at St. Stephen Reformed Church in New Holland.
In addition to his mother, Will is survived by his siblings, Rhonda Lawthers, Robin (Tim) Ardinger, and Wayne Terry, as well as a nephew, three nieces, one great-nephew, five great-nieces, an aunt, an uncle and cousins.
The family would like to thank all the people (too many to list) who brought joy to Will’s life, danced with him, listened to his jokes, and made us all laugh.
A memorial service will be held at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 750 Greenfield Road, Lancaster, PA 17601 on Monday, Dec. 22, 2025 at 12 Noon. The family will greet friends from 11 a.m. – 12 Noon.
