An active member of Hempfield United Methodist Church, Bill could often be found helping others, transporting residents to appointments, raising the flag, or visiting those in the hospital.

McCracken, husband of Sharon Thompson McCracken, Elizabethtown; and daughter Wendy McCracken Fitts, wife of Charles Fitts, Lancaster.
