Wilmer R. Ebersol, 55, of Leola, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 16, 2019 from injuries sustained in an accident in May. Born in Ronks, he was the son of Susie Riehl Ebersol, Leola and the late Aaron S. Ebersol. Wilmer was the husband of Wilma Yoder Ebersol with whom he shared 30 years of marriage.
He attended both Alive Church and Carpenter Community Church. A past member of the (Leola) Upper Leacock Fire Co. for 20 years, he also graduated from the Mendenhall School of Auctioneering in 1986. In 1988, he established the Wilmer Ebersol LLC – Gutters & Exteriors Company where he used his skills for many projects.
In addition to his wife and mother, he will be lovingly missed by two children, Jessica and Gregory; three sisters, Maryann wife of the late David Fisher, Emma wife of David Jay Stoltzfus, and Ruth wife of Sam King. He was preceded in death by his two brothers, John David “JD" and Jesse.
Funeral Services: Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the Alive Church, 510 Stevens Road, Ephrata. Viewings: Tuesday, 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Furman Home for Funerals, 59 W. Main St., Leola and Wednesday 10-11 a.m. at the church. Kindly omit flowers. Memorial Contributions are welcomed to Carpenter Community Church, Box 37, Talmage, PA 17580.
